Testifyin’ For PPS

with 4 comments

Wow. Has it been 5 years already, PPS?

I’ve been blogging for 4 years now, and if I’m not mistaken, I’ve been pinging Project Petaling Street (PPS) very early on.

Back when I first started my blog, PPS was the major, primary reason I got decent traffic in the first place. And from there, I built a loyal group of readers and fellow bloggers, some of whom I’ve grown to know personally as real-world friends.

Sure there were lots of dramas and stuff happening in PPS back in the good old days, with blogger attacking blogger with spicy name-calling and insults flying everywhere. But we survived it – only to see spammers becoming PPS‘ biggest problem these days.

But PPS remains our community, and though I may have had no hand in its founding, I feel like I have a vested interest in it, as does every blogger who has pinged PPS in the past.

PPS is our responsibility too, peeps, just as much as it has been Aiz’s all these years. We make it good, or we make it bad. So let’s not screw the place up.

Happy 5th anniversary, PPS. Live long and prosper.
